Hernia Treatment |
|
A common complaint seen in surgical practice involves protrusion of abdominal contents through the inguinal canal. It is more common in males, and is associated with poor abdominal muscles.
Yoga asana practice is very useful in preventing and treating to avoid recurrence and cross development.
In yoga practice most importantly we build abdominal muscles without pressure. Also inversions are ideal since the weight of abdominal contents are shifted away form inguinal region
Besides offering sessions for inguinal hernias, I also treat other specific problems such as:
- Structural- scoliosis, back pain, hernia, arthritis, sciatica
- Functional - asthma, high blood pressure, seizures, fibromyalgia
- Mental health- anxiety, depression, addictions, eating disorders
