Workshops with Caroline in 2019

Yama and Niyama for the Yoga Therapist: embark on a journey with your clients.  Approved for CEU’s by IAYT for certified Yoga Therapists!

Yama and Niyama are key standards to live up to. While we all have our unique ways of studying and living them, they are invaluable to the Yoga Therapy process. Not only do they help build the therapist’s principals, but they provide a framework for clear communication, better listening, and safe environment. A Yoga therapist can also use Yama and Niyama to create home practices for the clients that are uniquely Yogic…whether they are asana, pranayama, or meditation techniques. This 4 day series includes lecture, journaling, asana, pranayama, meditation, chanting, and group work with role play. Each participant will receive individual time with Caroline to aid in goal creation for their practice with students, and to help with their own personal inquiries regarding Yama and Niyama. A comprehensive exam will be taken on the last day of the course. 26 hours of CEU’s provided.
